What to include

• Your Jira site address (for example yourcompany.atlassian.net).
• What you did, what you expected, what happened, and the exact message shown.
• The template name and, for a failed run, the time it ran. The run view under Recent runs shows the step and Jira's message.

Common questions

"Project X has no work item type matching …"

The template uses a type name the target project does not have. Edit the template and pick a type the project has, or add the type to the project.

"You need to be a project admin"

Templates scoped to a project are managed by its project admins; templates for all projects by Jira admins. Ask an admin, or scope the template to a project you administer.

Items were created in the wrong place

Check the mode in the apply dialog: Add under this work item nests the template's root under the open item; Fill this work item writes the root onto the open item and adds the children below it.

Deleting the app

Uninstalling removes the app's storage, including all templates. Export JSON first if you may want them back.

Service status

The app runs entirely on Atlassian's Forge platform. Platform incidents are reported on developer.status.atlassian.com.
